Ciaran Hynes Sam Nayagam, CFO

Ciaran Hynes, Chief Executive Officer,

Ciaran HynesCiaran Hynes established 10n2 Technologies with his founding partners in September 2009 having researched a number of opportunities in the technology sector and identifying Distracted Driving as a key global issue that needed to be addressed. Since then he has led the company's drive to market utilising his own experience in business management, operations and strategic marketing. Ciaran will continue to play a key role in the development of the 10n2 Technologies strategy across the US, Europe and beyond.

A native of Dublin, Ireland and a successful entrepreneur across various business sectors he was a founder and first Chairman of the Dublin Convention Bureau and for many years a chief lobbyist for Ireland's new National Convention Centre, which now stands proudly on the banks of the river Liffey in Dublin. He also founded Ireland's leading marketing and event management company which, after merger and acquisition activity, became part of the hugely successful and global MCI Group. He also acts as an Executive Director for ClearSky Capital Ltd, which has enjoyed significant success via its property investments in key US locations.

A graduate of University College Dublin, Ciaran is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. He also acts as non executive Director to several companies in Ireland and the US. He currently resides in Boston but travels regularly to Europe and throughout the US to meet with investors and key strategic partners in the business.

Todd Fessenden, Chief Operations Officer

Todd Fessenden has over fifteen years of operational experience across various sectors and has developed a strong record of serving as a strategic planner, problem solver and entrepreneur.  Todd currently holds the position of COO for 10n2 Technologies.

In this position, Todd oversees the day to day operations of 10n2 and supports many divisions of the organization with emphasis on Sales, Marketing, & Engineering.  This role has allowed Todd to utilize his broad range of skill sets in both technology and business.

His professional background includes employment with global technology companies Hewlett Packard and Nortel Networks where he worked as a Technical Engineer supporting their various product lines. Prior to HP & Nortel, Todd worked for NEXL Network Systems as a Systems Integration Engineer where he linked various computing systems and software applications to meet customer specifications.

Todd has vast experience in both the US and European business markets and holds dual citizenship with both the USA & Ireland.

Sam Nayagam, Chief Financial Officer

Sam Nayagam, CFOSam Nayagam CFO, founding partner and Board member of 10n2 Technologies leads the finance function and formulates and monitors all financial strategising, budgeting and reporting for the company. Sam is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has over 20 years experience having originally trained and qualified with Sennheiser GMBH. Shortly after completing his studies Sam became Financial Director of Motorstore Limited and successfully led it's MBO in 2001 exiting in 2003. Since then Sam has worked on a number of projects in a financial consultancy role on two of the largest Retail construction projects in Ireland with a value in excess of $400m. He also acts as an Executive Director of Clearsky Consulting Ltd. and Clearsky Capital Ltd.

Brian Sheridan, Strategic Partnerships, Europe Jon Fischer, VP Tech Development

Brian Sheridan, Regional Director, Europe

Brian Sheridan is an experienced Marketing and Business Development executive with more than 22 years of experience across the telecoms and soft drinks sectors working with companies like Vodafone, KPN, SiMobile, BT, French Telecom and Coca Cola.

Brian’s area of expertise is in the development and implementation of successful business growth strategies across both large multinational corporations and small indigenous firms.

Throughout his career, Brian has held a variety of senior management roles - Head of Product Marketing -Head of Sales and Business Development -Head of Sales and Marketing Mobile Internet -Head of Brand, Marcomms and Sponsorship -Head of Terminals Marketing. In these roles Brian managed teams of up to 35 people, at varying levels.

Ronan Duffy, Regional Director, MENA

Ronan is a qualified civil engineer with a broad business background in production and export, project management and development. More recently Ronan has been an investor in the UAE and Mozambique, where he is a co-founder of a small gold mining company. He is also the founder and 50% shareholder in Freshwater Transport International, an Irish spring water company exporting bottled Irish water to the Middle East and North Africa. He is also a director of Envetec Limited, an Irish company in the business of hazardous medical waste disposal - "Change More into Less” which he has successfully brought to the Middle East.

Ronan is a graduate of University College Dublin and holds a Diploma in Law, and has completed the examinations for the Law Society of Ireland. He currently resides in Dubai where he is utilizing his extensive contact base there to bring the 10n2 product to market.

Jon Fischer, VP of Technical Development

Jon Fischer - VP Tech DevelopmentJon is the VP of Technical Development who brings his full product set and expertise in driving safety to the 10n2 team.

Jon has been an inventor, technologist and entrepreneur for most of his life. Jon created the original Speed Demon Teen Driver Monitoring prototype for the 2006 Massachusetts State Science Fair. With a working prototype and business plan in hand, Jon won both the NFIB National Plan for the Future and Mount Wachusett Community College Business Plan Competitions. These wins provided Jon with the seed funding to found Speed Demon Inc. and file patents on driving safety technology.

Jon is a graduate of Champlain College, where he was a McKelvey Foundation Scholar, Champlain College BYOBiz Scholar, and NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation Scholar. Through college, Jon led the company to an initial release of a hardware product and then onto the release of the Speedbump smartphone app.

In 2011, Jon was a featured speaker at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum Concept Clinic, the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) Innovation Showcase, and Foley Lardner Emerging Technologies Conference. Speedbump became a MassChallenge Finalist and was an active member of the 2011 MassChallenge Startup Accelerator Class. Jon has received numerous accolades in the national press.
