OneProtect™ is a consumer smartphone management software that specifically addresses the dangers associated with distracted driving by teens, family members or any loved ones.

How do I install your smartphone management software?
Our software is deployed to smartphones via our user-friendly web-based administration portal. Just add the users into the portal and they will receive an email message with a registration code and a link to download our app. Just launch the app after installing and input the registration code received in the email.

What is the administration portal?
The administration portal is a user-friendly web based solution that allows company administrators or parents to update and manage safe driving policies for their employees or loved ones.

What is the Attention Verification Test (AVT)?
AVT is a policy setting that allows our software to differentiate between driver & passenger, thus allowing passengers to continue using their smartphones in a moving vehicle.

Why should I install OneProtect™ on my teenagers smartphone?
Mobile phones are an absolute necessity in today's business world. Most companies have incorporated cellphone policies to specifically address the issue of distracted driving. BizProtect™allows companies to enforce these cellphone policies and protect their businesses and employees from the risks and liabilities of distracted driving.

Which operating systems do you support?
10n2 Technologies currently supports the Android and Blackberry(RIM) operating systems. Iphone(IOS) will launch in Fall 2012.

What version of Blackberry and Android do I need to get the app?
We support Blackberry OS 5.0 and higher, as well as Android OS 2.2 and higher

When will the application be available on Tablets?
The BizProtect™ app is now available on all 7" and 10" Android tablets. It will become available on other platforms towards the end of the year.

How do we get the app on our devices?
Once the account administrator adds a device in the web portal, user will receive an email with a registration code and link to the application. User should click this link and enter registration code when prompted to install the application on their device.

What happens if a user disables the app?
A notification is sent to the email address specified in the customer’s web portal

What happens if a user doesn’t download the application?
Administrators can see device registration status, which is depicted by color in the web portal. Devices will remain "red" in the server until the application is downloaded and installed.

What happens if a user disables the GPS feature on their phone?
10n2 utilizes proprietary methods to ensure GPS is enabled at all times

Can I always dial emergency phone numbers?
Yes, an administrator can program up to three emergency numbers for you in the web portal

Once we have the app, who manages it?
Each company or family will appoint an administrator upon account creation. The admin is responsible for adding devices and managing safe driving policies.

What if we want 10n2 to be our administrator and make all portal changes for us?
10n2 can provide that service at additional cost.

Do we have choice whether we, as administrators, give the Attention Verification Test (AVT)?
Yes, you can either completely block access to the phone by disabling the AVT or allow passengers access by enabling the AVT

Can there be multiple administrators?
Yes

I want the portal to be in a language other than English, can you do that?
As of right now, this is an English based application. We will be implementing numerous other languages in the near future.

Where is our data stored and how secure is it?
10n2 uses a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant back-office solution to ensure your data/billing information is completely secure and safe. Also, the data center where our cloud-based server resides is SAS-70 compliant, which means they've had a complete independent audit of their data security controls. It's the most highly recognized audit in the industry.

We are setting up hundreds of devices for our employees. Do we have to set them up individually?
No. The web portal offers an "Add Multiple Device" feature that will allow administrators a way of importing 1,000's of devices at a time.

We have a high rate of employee turnover. What do we do when we have an employee leave the company?
If it's an employee owned device, then the administrator should delete the device from their web portal. A company owned device can be transferred to a new employee.

When an employee leaves can we transfer that account to a different phone number?
No need to transfer. Just delete the device from your web portal and add the new one. Customer will be billed accordingly.

How well does the app work in rural locations?
GPS signal comes from satellites orbiting the earth. As long as you can see the sky above you, you should be able to receive the GPS signals.

What happens when I drive through areas where I lose cell service?
Nothing. GPS works from satellites, not the cell towers

Will the application work seamlessly with all carriers (Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile, etc)?
Yes

How will the application affect the battery-life of my phone?
Anytime a device uses GPS, there will be battery consumption. 10n2 has implemented a battery saving measure that will help prolong your phone's battery.

I frequently use the navigation feature on my phone, how will the app affect my ability to do that?
As of now, the application prevents all interaction with your device except the use of Google Maps - which has been white-listed. For more information on "white-listing,

What happens when I drop below the target speed?
The Passenger/Driver screen disappears and the user is allowed to access their device.

Can I make calls, send texts, etc?
The user will be able to use Bluetooth/Wired headset to initiate or receive any voice activated calls or texts.

What happens if I dial a phone number while stopped in traffic or at a red light and I’m on the call and then exceed the threshold speed?
The Passenger/Driver screen will appear when threshold speed is reached. The user will have a predetermined amount of time to continue the call by passing the AVT or the call will be terminated

What happens if I start a text or email and before I finish I exceed the threshold speed?
Nothing will happen to your email or text. Our screen will just block the interface to prevent you from doing those tasks. Once below the threshold speed, you may continue from where you left off.

Can we change the threshold speed?
No. This is a setting that is predetermined by 10n2 at the server level.

Will I receive all my voicemails and texts sent during the “blackout” period all at once?
10n2 does not prevent your device from receiving voicemails or texts at any time. 10n2 only prevents the user from accessing them when travelling above a predetermined speed.
