Attention Verification Test (AVT)
The AVT is a revolutionary patent pending feature that allows our app (BizProtect™ or OneProtect™) to differentiate between who is a driver and who is a passenger, thus allowing passengers to continue using their mobile phones.
How it works...
If the vehicle in which the user is traveling goes above a certain speed, and the user tries using their phone without a blue tooth connection/hands-free kit, the user is presented with a screen that asks "Are you Passenger or Driver". If Driver is chosen, then access to the phone is suspended until the vehicle drops below the set threshold speed. If the user selects Passenger, then they will be prompted to pass the AVT, which is a set of characters that are quickly and randomly displayed at timed intervals. The user must then match and enter the characters as shown in a timely manner to gain access to their mobile phone. Watch our video below to see how it works.
